Baby Update

Everything with the babies is great! The days seem to just fly by, we are so ready for them to come home. We of course know that they are not ready to be home yet. We just love them more and more every day!

Adelaide is going up on her feeding every day. Which means she goes down on her IV fluids. As of today she is just on clear fluids, we hope that PICC line will be out very soon. She continues to gain weight and is trying to catch up with her brothers. She looks so cute in her little pink clothes!

Jackson is getting more and more food and he is taking a bottle really well. He is is a feisty little guy and likes to pull out his feeding tube. Jackson does NOT like when the swaddle blanket restricts his hands. His oxygen levels are much better, in fact part of the reason they stopped the oxygen is that he kept yanking it out so it was doing very little good. He has proven that he does not need it so far.

Carter is our little spitter. He is doing great drinking out of a bottle, BUT you have to burp him constantly. We have learned the hard way that he will surprise you with a major spit at the end of his feeding. So they have fortified his milk to help him gain some additional weight (since he spits several meals up a day). But that is a really small thing that lots of babies go through so we are not really worried about this.

The babies are moving along getting bigger and eating more and more. Luckily there really isn't much to report! As always, thank you for the love and support!
