Fun With Food

The triplets are growing and learning new things every day!  We have recently started to feed them cereal to practice feeding themselves.  It is amazing to watch them learn this skill, every day they improve.  Here is the latest news on each child.

Addie

Food:  Does very well being spoon fed and always ready for her next bite.  She is getting the hang of the cereal and gets about 50% in her mouth.

Teeth:  Two teeth cut last week.

Crawling:  Very good crawler and can move pretty fast.

Play:  Loves to pull up on furniture, toys, people, or Norm.  If you have the toy she wants, she will crawl over anything to get to it then take it from you.  But heaven forbid if you take hers...

Special Skills:  Melting her dad's heart, she has become very clingy with him.

Jack

Food:  Does well with baby food, but knows what he likes and will clamp his mouth shut or blow raspberries when he does not care for something.  Gets about 70% of the cereal in his mouth

Teeth:  4 teeth (two upper and two lower)

Crawling:  Speed crawler, he loves to explore!

Play:  Jack pulls up on some things but not on everything.  He is generally a pretty passive player, if Addie or Carter start to cry or put up a fight Jack will generally just move on.

Special Skills:  Clapping his hands, he loves to give himself applause

Carter

Food:  Does great with baby food and can probably eat the most.  He is really starting to get the hang of the cereal and gets almost 90% in his mouth.
Teeth:  4 teeth, he just cut his top two this week
Crawling:  Can move when he is motivated.  He is not known for his speed though.
Play:  Loves to dump the basket of toys on his lap and hoard them away from Jack and Addie.
Special Skills:  Waving, this is a new one.  He waved goodbye to my mom Wednesday.  He won't bend his wrist or elbow yet so it looks like a robot arm waving.
