Visit With The Doctor

The triplets went in for their one year doctors visit Monday and got rave reviews.  Our pediatrician was so excited that they were eating table food only and drinking out of a sippy cup exclusively (that is a new change as of the weekend).  As an added benefit milk is much less expensive than formula, don't worry they make up the costs in other areas like the copious amounts of food consumed. 

Here are some stats:

Adelaide

Weight:  14.12 lbs

Height:  27 inches

Growth chart:  Little thing has not made it on in any of the categories yet, but she is growing at a steady pace and that is what really matters.

Skills:  Pushing lots of items around the house, she stands on her tippy toes so we are trying to break her of that to avoid long term issues.  She is very verbal (can say mama and dada) making lots of noises and would love to talk.  Will point out eyes on her dolly and give her kisses.

Jackson

Weight:  15.7 lbs

Height:  29 inches

Growth chart:  Jack is in the 25th percentile for height for a 12 month old.  So he is getting taller.  Nothing in the other two categories but the doctor was not at all concerned.

Skills:  Took his first steps last Thursday!!!  Big boy will take a few steps then sit down.  He pushes around all kinds of stuff, often to his sister's frustration.  Loves to say mama and dada, and will sometimes YELL at us.  Can point to the dolly's eyes and will give kisses on occasion.  Even gave Addie a kiss. 

Carter

Weight:  17.7lbs
Height:  29 3/4 inches
Growth chart:  Carter is in the 45th percentile for height for a 12 month old.  He is right in the middle for his age group.  He was not on the chart for head circumference or weight but again doctor said that was just fine. 
Skills:  Carter can stand with no assistance for about 10-15 seconds at a time.  It is almost like he forgets to hold on then when he realizes he sits down.  He says mama and dada too, and will squeal with delight when he is happy.  He will point at eyes on everything he sees.  He LOVES to give kisses and will open mouth kiss about anyone, including his siblings.
