What a wild and crazy week it has been! As I mentioned, last Tuesday we got a sheet of ice covered by a dusting of snow. Lets be clear, North Texas does not know what to do with this stuff. But ice can be really tricky and very dangerous. The snow...well that is a little more fun. Paul and I were forced to work from home Tuesday through Friday (I went in for a few hours on Thursday). Friday we got even more snow! Here are a few still shots from the big snow day.
Addie did not care for the snow.
Jack LOVED the snow and liked to play in it (he lost a glove so he has a sock on one hand).
Carter wanted to be held and did not like the fact that he kept slipping!
This is a photo of the park on Thursday late afternoon when I left work. Look at the streets, can you see the ice? The area kids were having fun sliding down the levees.

As many of you know, North Texas hosted the Super Bowl this weekend. Downtown Ft Worth was where ESPN did their broadcast. After being cooped up for 4 days, we decided to take the triplets downtown on Saturday to check out all the festivities. So we got all bundled up and quickly shed layers. The sun was out and it was a beautiful day. The melting snow mixed with sand did cause some navigation issues in the stroller, but we powered through.
Even at a Super Bowl event, the triplets are still a side show...(Jack, Carter, Addie)
Hopefully things will get a little back to normal now!
