Christmas Eve

We had a lovely Christmas Eve.  DeeDee, Poppy, Uncle Lance, and Aunt Whitney came over and we all went to church then ate a nice dinner.  After dinner we opened gifts from family.  DeeDee made the kids all new pillows for their beds and Uncle Lance and Aunt Whitney gave the kids a drum set (there were more gifts, those are just a few).  To say that there have been days where I want to send the kids AND their drum set to live with Uncle Lance might be a bit of an overstatement...but maybe not.  There will be lots of pictures of those to come.

We hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas.  Ours was fantastic, we are learning the true meaning of Christmas and TRYING real hard not to get caught up in the whole "commercialism" of the holiday.
