Day of Fun

Last Saturday we had a fun day of holiday activities. We started out the day by going to the grocery store and buying all the supplies we needed to make some Christmas goodies. Then we came back to the house and started our baking. It was quite a mess so we were ready for the kids to go down for a nap.

After they woke up DeeDee and Poppy came over and we all headed to the museum. The kids were so excited to show their Poppy all the cool stuff that they had been seeing there. After the museum we went out to eat with them downtown and walked around to see all of the lights. We even caught a glimpse of Santa. After we were done looking around we tried our first taste of hot chocolate. It was a big hit especially with Jack.

To end the night we drove around and looked at neighborhood Christmas lights. It was quite a fun day!
