In case you're wondering why my blogging has been sparse lately, it is because we took a long family trip and drove up to Minnesota. My dad is from up there, and this is the second time we have made this trip with the children. The first time was two summers ago and the kids were only a year and a half. Now that they are 3 1/2 and potty trained, there were different kinds of obstacles to overcome. However, we traveled much lighter.
I have several big ole blog posts to follow this one, but here is a little teaser of what you will see. The kids literally experienced something new every single day we were there...we were VERY busy. Now to get them back on schedule. Since we just rolled into our driveway less than half an hour ago, this blog post will be very short. I'll make sure to post more in subsequent days.
