This past weekend we had big Jack, my parents had Carter, and BeeBee & Papaw had Addie. Jack wanted to try out a new place for tacos on Friday then we let him pick out ice cream at the store. We had to have an early night because we had a big Saturday planned.
Saturday morning, Jack popped out of bed and quickly got dressed. When he realized we were still in bed he was a little disappointed, he was ready to drive down to Waco.
But, we made it and hit up the Baylor Bookstore before going to "Meet the Bears" an event where you watch football practice and get autographs. They have bounce houses for kids too (Jack wanted no part of that, was all about the football).
Jack picked out a BU jersey for him and Carter and a cheerleader outfit for Addie. Of course he got a new football too which has provided hours of entertainment. We also went to a birthday party, ordered pizza, played LOTS of catch, went to church and attended big church together!
Addie had fun at Papaw and BeeBee's as well, they "built" a dollhouse, went swimming, went out to eat, went to church and just had an overall good time! She was instructed to be very helpful since BeeBee has a broken wrist.
Carter had fun at Poppy and DeeDee's house. He swam, collected fossils, went on a shopping adventure with Lance and Poppy, went to church and of course got to ride in Lance's truck!
Oh and did I mention one of his goals was to get his cape fixed...DeeDee added more Velcro to help secure it just in time for "superhero week" at school.
This weekend Addie is with us, Carter is with Paul's parents and Jack is with mine! I can't believe summer is almost over...how come it is still over 100 degrees every day??
