What a weekend! The new Baylor stadium debuted this weekend so we went down Saturday to stay with Mamaw.
The kids and I were going to just go tailgate before the game then leave but Paul's cousin Wes had a ticket and even arranged for his sister and mom to watch the kids...talk about clutch.
Since our plans changed a little we went to check out the stadium Sunday night and let Mamaw and the kids see everything. It was pretty awesome!
After church and lunch we headed over to the game and saw lots of old friends and even some family. It was hot but we had a blast!
The kids had fun while we were gone too. Cousin Ashton's boyfriend Grant let the kids come over and swim at his house! A big thank you to Aunt Jo, Uncle Benny, Cousin Ashton and Grant for hanging out with the kids. And another big thank you to Wes for setting it up so I could go to the game!
Addie wept as we left, she missed Mamaw so much. She has started to do that whenever we leave a grandmother, it's so sad and pitiful how much she misses them.
