Our church does a wonderful program where we divide up and go caroling at nursing homes. Thankfully we were not sick at this point and got to participate! We met at church then rode A BIG BUS to the nursing home. When we got there we sang songs and talked to the patients. The kids did great and were very engaging. When we returned, there was a party waiting for us with carriage rides around downtown, Santa, cookie decorating and a hot chocolate bar! Addie still has a fear of anyone in a costume, including Santa so she would not go anywhere near him...she will literally cry if she gets close.
After the party, we met my parents, cousin and his girlfriend for dinner...what a day!
