So that title might be a little dramatic, but with a little time and perspective I think we can discuss that yes, Baylor went to the Cotton Bowl, and no we did not win.
We did get to participate in the Cotton Bowl at a whole other level thanks to my dads good friend Mike. Mike hooked us up with Cotton Bowl luncheon tickets, hospitality passes at the team hotel (the Gaylord) and sweet tickets for the game.
The night before the game was New Years Eve so we spent it with our good Baylor friends and even had a cookie cake. It was all so much fun...until the last five minutes of the game when we blew it.
