Wedding Weekend

As promised I have some more photos from Lance & Whitney's wedding weekend, thanks to my cousin-in-law, Donna!  We started out in Abilene on Friday unpacking and temporarily baby-proofing the suite at the Courtyard.  Side note, the folks at the hotel were SO nice and accommodating, setting us up with cribs and a great room.  We played and napped until it was time for the rehearsal.  The babies played at the church then we took them back to the hotel where Donna and her two daughters put the babies down for the night and stayed with them until we returned from the rehearsal dinner.

On Saturday we got ready for the wedding most of the day.  The fabulous photographer took several pictures that I can't WAIT to see.  The ceremony was beautiful and went smoothly.  As I said earlier, Al and Bev took the babies back to the hotel during the reception so they could go to BED!  We had a fantastic time and got to hang out with some friends and family (and do a little dancing).

For those who don't know Lance and my dad both play the drums.  I endured many a "jam" sessions growing up.  The wedding band was nice enough to let them sit in for a few songs and my cousin Tim (who's house we went to for Thanksgiving) sang a couple of songs too!  It was quite the crowd pleaser.

The weekend was so fun and it was great to see all our family that came in from Minnesota.  Lance and Whitney are such a neat couple and so many people had such sweet things to say about both of them.  Our kiddos are so lucky to have such great role models in them.
