You Better Not Pout...

Grandma Bev and Aunt Bettie pulled a few strings and had a VERY special surprise for the triplets on Sunday. First, we arrived in Dallas on Saturday after relaxing at our house for the early part of the weekend. We played, went on a walk to look at lights, and gave the babies baths in the tub.

 

Carter says "Grandmother, I wouldn't get all the playing cards out...not me!"

And she is off! 

Look at all that hair Jack has! 

It is like a mess follows us wherever we go! 

Who us, make a mess, must be some other triplets.

Those lights were pretty but it was COLD outside (Jack, Carter, Addie).

 Bath time is a circus...(Carter, Jack, Addie)

On Sunday, Al, Paul, and I took the triplets to church.  Grandmother Beverly plays in the church orchestra so we went to watch her.  Babies did great in church and loved all the music!  We returned to Al & Bevs took naps and played. 

 Jack is walking more and more every day!

The babies love to give kisses in mirrors...sorry Grandmother. 

Carter is having a blast in the bar area opening and closing cabinets.

Jack loves to "fly." 

This is something new.  Carter will crawl up to Addie and give her a hug. 

Sometimes she hugs him back. 

Then comes the kiss, which is followed shortly by the not so popular body slam. 

Then we heard something from the other room, it sounded like...bells.  Addie and I went to investigate and everyone followed (by everyone I mean:  Grandfather Alfred, Grandmother Beverly, DD, Poppy, Aunt Bettie, Uncle Bill, Uncle Mark, Jessica, Uncle Lance, Aunt Whitney, Jack, and Carter).  We peeked around the corner to see what it was.  There in the living room was...

SANTA!!!!!

Addie says "who is this man with all the facial hair??" 

She is very suspicious. 

It was Jack's turn next. 

"What is that growing out of your nose Santa?" 

Carter says "sweet a football!" 

Santa remembered bringing Paul a hair dryer for Christmas 27 years ago! 

All together now.  Carter was the most comfortable with Santa.  Always suspicious Addie just wanted Paul to hold her.  Jack, the mamas boy was interested but wanted me to hold him.

A big thank you to Santa for allowing our children to meet you for the first time at Grandmother's house where we are much more comfortable.  Also, thank you to Bev and Bettie for getting everything set up and even having festive food!  Our families really enjoyed seeing the triplets first Santa encounter!
