While up in Minnesota we experienced a real treat...we could be outside on the 4th! It wasn't over 100 degrees outside, in fact it was about 90 degrees. One of the things I REALLY wanted to do was take the kids to a 4th of July parade. IF we have these in Texas I don't want to go, too hot. We went to a great parade in Edina, Minnesota. It had a great hometown feel with kids selling water and soda, clowns, veterans, and marching bands.
My cousin Jan's friend Jonathan is from Edina and he scoped out this great spot for us!
My other cousin Jody's son Quinton joined us and entertained the kids. He is such a nice guy!

A big thanks to Jonathan for showing us his home town. The parade was a success and the kids had fun! We went to my cousin's lake house afterwords...more pictures to come!
