Ok Ok, this is the last post about the trip...
Wednesday evening we went over to our friend Matt's house. Matt, his brother Mike are the sons of my parent's good friends, so we grew up spending time with them in the summer. Matt's fiance, Natalie found a fan in Jack who asked her to carry him around on her sholders...Matt even took us down to a neaby lake to wade in the water!
Matt had to lift Carter up very high to reach these rings...
Poor Natalie, Jack is pretty forward!
Their dog was as big as Jack, but VERY sweet.
Cousin Jan sweetly got the kids some parting gifts that we are now OBSESSED with.
She even made us yummy food. The kids loved to eat outon her deck in the morning. I'm sure all the golfers loved it too...
Thursday night we went to the Hamburg Hawks baseball game to see Cousin Alex and Mr. Mike (Matt's brother) play. We got to see my other cousin and his triplets! Brandon and his wife have triplets who are about 2 years younger, two girls and a boy. Over the loud speaker at the game they welcomed the two sets of triplets from the same family. Before anyone makes a comment about triplets running in the famiily, Brandon and I are not actually blood related. His mom is my aunt's stepdaughter but rasied as a daughter.
Guess their good lucks worked because Alex hit a triple!
Alex stopped by the next morning to wish us goodbye. Addie gave him BIG hugs.
Our hotel was a welcome site. The pool was refreshing and we went to bed EARLY.
And then the laundry began...six loads later it is all folded and put away!
