I know what you are thinking...how much more do we have to hear about this trip they took! Well, too bad, you are gonna get more...
On Tuesday, the kids had yet another first to experience...fishing. My cousin Nancy's son, Will, took the kids to the "Mill Pond" in their town, Jordan. This was advantageous for a few reasons. First, no life jackets were required. Two, a bathroom was nearby. Three, and most importantly, the fish are plentiful. We didn't have the hook in the water for more than a minute each time they caught a fish. Now, we may have been catching the same fish over and over again, but who cares, the kids were entertained!
That evening we went to a great restaurant on the lake and sat outside, enjoying the beautiful day. After dinner we walked over to this cute custard shop and had some yummy custard!
By Wednesday, it had warmed up even more (to a balmy 85 degrees) so we hit up the pool at Jan's complex. The kids love to swim and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
