This past weekend was our third and final switch of the summer. This new tradition (sorry grandparents, it is now an official "tradition" after two years) is something the kids look forward to with great anticipation. We also have a great time hanging out one on one with them.
This weekend Carter was at DeeDee and Poppy's house. His highlights include: mowing the lawn, cleaning the lawn mower, going to the landfill (pronounced "wanfill" by Carter), washing the car, going to Uncle Lance's, playing with Poppy's vintage Tonka trucks, helping make pancakes and going to church.

Jack went to BeeBee and Papaw's house in Dallas. Highlights from Jack's weekend include: riding on Papaw's motorcycle (gasp!), going to the cupcake ATM, playing with Cisco and perhaps the most talked about thing...opening and closing the garage door. Jack is a bit of a homebody and when BeeBee asked if he wanted to go to the club to swim or golf, he told her "no."

Addie had her weekend with us. Friday night we asked her what she wanted and she requested a Hamburger from a Mexican food place we frequent. It is on the menu and she loves it, so whatever...After we ate, we took her to pick out a present for her friend Francis. We had Fran's birthday Saturday. Addie proudly picked out a doll and some books. We snuck in an extra set of books and the girl was in heaven. Saturday we had a super-busy day going to a Sip and See for my friend Allie's daughter, Charlotte. After a very restless nap we headed to Pump It Up for Fran's birthday party. We immediately left there and headed to Aunt Jessica's parent's club for some swimming. Mark and Paul were golfing and met us out there too. Addie had so much fun with Aunt Jessica and stated that was the highlight of her weekend. After swimming we went to Jessica's parent's house and Uncle Mark cooked steaks and yummy mac and cheese. Our dainty little flower inhaled some steak and a little mac then promptly feel asleep in my lap.

I wish the pic wasn't so blurry. After I took it Ruby goes "I had to squat down because I'm taller." Ruby is quite a bit taller than Addie, but they play really well together despite a year difference.
Fran is closer to Addie's age with a birthday in mid-August.

Addie even found some toys at Aunt Jessica's parents house...she has two other nieces.
On a random note, we ran into my fertility doctor at the pool Dr. Kaufmann. Such a sweet man, I HIGHLY recommend him.
