Happy Birthday DeeDee

Last Wednesday was my mom, DeeDee's, birthday. A few weeks ago; she emailed my brother and both our spouses a link to a taco place some other teachers had told her about called Del Norte Tacos, http://delnortetacos.com.  So my sister in law, Aunt Whitney, emails back...well your birthday is coming up!

So, Saturday we loaded up the family and headed out to this cool,obscure taco joint. It's about half an hour away and worth every minute of drive time. The atmosphere was great. It didn't hurt that the day was STUNNING and the Baylor Bears won. They had a cute young gal singing outside, it was BYOB and the clientele was friendly. To top it all off, the food was AMAZING!

We headed back to Lance and Whitney's for some yummy cake the kids and I made. It was messy but it was good!

After we finished we were SO sleepy...and goofy.
