The Gaylord Texan

After spending a rather restless night at the hotel, we got up and ate a little breakfast. We took showers and got ready and headed downstairs. First, we checked out the decorations around the hotel. 

After walking around we headed over to ICE. It is a whole display made entirely out of ice. The theme this year was The Nutcracker, which was right up Addie's alley...or so we thought. 

It's pretty cold in there and our skinny boy Jack did the best and thought the whole deal was pretty cool, especially the ice slide. Carter liked it a lot too, but the cold did start to get to him. Addie hated the whole thing.  She cried that she was cold and didn't like it. Best laid plans...
