Popular Babies

We had lots of friends who had babies this time of year last year.  Therefore, our trio has a lot of friends turning 1 year old.  We have been to 5 birthday parties in 4 weeks.  This weekend we went to two, one Saturday and one Sunday!  First Mr. Henry turned one.  Henry is the son of Paul's really good friends from high school and college Dustin and Courtney.  Second, Mr. Riggs turned one.  Riggs is the son of my friend/coworker Karee.  Both boys were adorable and performed their birthday duties beautifully.  I got a few pictures at Henry's birthday but we only got one at Riggs' party.  Hopefully someone else was able to snap a few that I can post later.

The triplets are playing with Henry's birthday gift.  It is actually a few tubs filled with clothes pins that they take in and out.  Who would have thought that would be SUCH a hit...one wise grandmother in attendance did!  That's Henry in the background on the left and our friend Ellie on the right (we went to her party two weeks ago).

We love to have playtime in the morning with the babies on the weekends.  Paul and I will often eat our breakfast in the nursery.  Lately we have been giving each child a bite of what we are eating.  Last weekend the pancakes almost caused a riot (I mean Addie did knock Jack down to get a bite that fell on the ottoman). 

Carter says "Addie you better wait your turn this time, I am bigger than you and I will knock you DOWN!"

Silly babies.  This started out with Jack and Addie pushing the chair around then Carter decided he wanted to crawl through. 

This is the one and only picture I got at Riggs' party...he is not even in the room with us.  Our friend Hazel was there and she and Addie were playing with the exercaucer.  The party was a football theme so all the babies wore Cowboy's attire (not that it helped...).
