Playing with Dolls

Nanny Kelly is so sweet and brought the babies all kinds of stuff for their birthday.  One thing in particular that went over really well was a baby stroller.  Addie had a baby doll from our friends Mike and Joyce, and now she has something to transport her in.  Honestly, most of the toys they play with are very unisex.  Addie just loves her baby though, she kisses it and hugs it. 

The stroller does not always remain in the correct position.  Sometimes it gets turned over for inspection. 

Jack says "What the heck is that thing?!"

And last night we found another use for the stroller.  Ok so Paul and I put Jack in the stroller, but Addie pushed it all on her own! 

There are some learning benefits to having that baby around.  Carter can now definitively point to the baby's eyes and sometimes he gets nose.  Addie is a little more hesitant and Jack could care less.  But we are working on it (I talked to Hazel's mommy last night and she gave me the idea of working with them on their eyes, ears, mouth, and nose....).
