WE ARE 1!!!!

Dear Adelaide, Jackson, & Carter,
This blog is not just about you...it is for you.  I have books made out of the blog every six months in order to preserve my thoughts and our adventures for the future.  This will be the last entry for your first year and the first entry for your second year.  Your dad and I are so proud of you and how strong, smart, and sweet you are.  We could not love you more.  When you came 9 weeks early, we were so scared that something would be wrong with you.  We didn't know what to do to help you, all we could do was visit you at first.  Then you got bigger and we got to bring you home and our adventure really began.  It has been so amazing to watch you grow and learn new things.  And now a whole year has gone by.  Our hard work has been rewarded by sweet hugs and kisses from you.  Your smiles light up our days.  God has continued to bless us and we thank him every day for each one of you.  So happy birthday, we love you!  - Mom & Dad

On their actual birthday (Friday), Paul and I took the day off to spend time together with the babies.  We made breakfast, went to visit my mom at school, ate a hamburger with my dad, and went to a nice dinner with Mr. Steve & Mrs. Amy.  Their birthday party was Saturday, more on that later.  A year really does FLY by.
