Snow Day!!

Last night about 4 o'clock, sleet started to fall on our house. It continued to fall all night long and throughout the morning today. School was canceled and so was work, so we stayed inside most of the day and baked Christmas goodies. We did venture out a couple of times to check out the snow. Jack seem to be the biggest fan of the white stuff, Addie was definitely the least and she only went outside one time. 

We did find an extra box to try a little amateur sledding down the driveway. Paul and I started to get cold so we call it a day after a few runs! 

We actually can only go in and out of our back door, because a drift of ice has formed up against our front door. This isn't really snow despite what it looks like, it's more the consistency of a icee. Not those big fluffy flakes it is hard thick crystals. 

I think it will still be here tomorrow, so we will probably play a little bit more outside although it will be colder, so it might be just for a little bit!
